I think they usually send an email with a code after your first workshop is done. Keep an eye on your inbox for it. Can't just mention it at checkout afaik.

Yeah, it's a code. They send it out for specific dates I think. Make sure you apply it when you book, because you can't add it later.

what's the deal with cancellation? if something comes up last minute can i get my money back?

They have a policy, it's on their site. I remember it being fairly standard for workshops, like you get most back if you cancel far enough in advance, but less if it's super close to the date. Check the exact terms though, don't want to mislead you.

Pretty sure there's a cut-off date. After that, you might only get a partial refund or nothing, unless maybe you can transfer it? Best to look up their official cancellation policy page.

Is Lp Workshops any good compared to the Leica Akademie? I'm torn between the two for a comprehensive M-system course.

I've done workshops with both actually. LP feels a bit more hands-on and less formal, more about getting out there and shooting. Akademie is great too, but maybe a bit more structured. Depends on your learning style.

LP is really good for the practical side of things. I'd say if you want to really dig into specific shooting styles and techniques with a Leica, LP is solid. Akademie might have more 'official' branding but LP instructors are legit.
